Employee VTO

Employee Volunteer Time Off

As a full-time Mingledorff’s employee, you are allotted up to 16 hours of paid time off from regularly scheduled work hours to perform volunteer services with eligible organizations pending managerial approval. Below are the resources and steps you need in order to take advantage of this opportunity. Please fully review our workplace giving reference document here.

Step 1: Fill out the VTO Request Form below (located on the button). This must be completed prior to volunteer service and requires manager approval before submission.

Step 2: Coordinate with the charitable 501(c)(3) organization to fill out the applicable information on the VTO Request Form. You will need a representative from the organization to sign off on the work being done.

Step 3: Once the VTO Request Form is completely filled out, a copy will need to be submitted to your manager. Managers of hourly employees must enter VTO hours into ADP appropriately. It is advised the employee also keep a completed copy of the VTO Request Form on hand.

Step 4: Your manager will submit the completed VTO Request Form to the Human Resources team for records.

Employee Gift Matching

In addition to volunteering time, employees are able to make monetary donations to be matched by Mingledorff’s (minimum contributions of $50 up to a maximum of $1,000 per employee per calendar year). Please fully review our workplace giving reference document here.

Step 1: Employees wishing to participate will need to fill out “Part A” of the Matching Gift Form below (located on the button) after making their monetary contribution to an 501(c)(3) organization.

Step 2: The institution that received the donation will need to complete “Part B” of the Matching Gift Form.

Step 3: Once fully completed, the Matching Gift Form will need to be sent to the Human Resources team for review.

Step 4: After the review is approved, a donation on behalf of Mingledorff’s that matches what the employee contributed will be sent (minimum contribution of $50 to a maximum of $1,000 per employee per calendar year).
